Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under federal law, patients who do not have health insurance or who are not using health insurance to pay for their care generally have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much their health care is expected to cost.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the expected cost of non-emergency health care services when required by law.

If you schedule a service or request information about the expected cost of your care, Stillpoint Wellness LLC will provide a Good Faith Estimate within the timeframes required by federal law.

Your Good Faith Estimate will include the expected charges for the services reasonably expected to be provided by Stillpoint Wellness LLC during the applicable period of care.

A Good Faith Estimate is an estimate based on information known at the time it is prepared. Your actual services or charges may differ if your treatment needs change.

If you receive a bill from a provider that is at least $400 more than that provider's expected charges listed on your Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to use the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.

A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not require you to receive the services described in the estimate.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling care.
